Harbor has a full and fun summer ahead! Read below to learn about all of the exciting events you can participate in.
Many of you have noticed the small shifts and changes that began in early spring to start solidifying Harbor's branding. This past spring we were able to finalize an official version of our logo, an official rainbow prism background and our first way to tell people a little about who we are. Above is a photo of the sticker that we will be handing out at our first outreach event since pandemic.

Harbor's Summer Schedule
OC Pride Community Outreach
It's not too late to sign up to participate in our PRIDE outreach event. We have secured a tent for the event and will be passing out small worship kits similar to the kits we mailed home to our community during the pandemic. We also will provide sacred space for parade goers to take a break, have a snack, read affirming children's stories, hear scripture stories told in affirming ways, pray with pastors, and share communion. See below for event sign-up and day of logistics.
Blue Theology - July 4th Potluck
We are excited about our second annual July 4th Potluck. Our Blue Theology group will be joining us again this year, all the way from Minneapolis. If you would like to join us or to help purchase or prepare food, please sign up below. We also hope you will be able to stop by for food, yard games, and ocean themed karaoke!
Women's Group
Beginning on July 18, we will be starting our Women's Group. We will be meeting weekly on Tuesdays at 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm. In our group we will be sharing fellowship time, prayer time, focusing on helpful discussion topics, and practicing breathwork and meditation. We hope you join us every week, but this is an open group that you can attend as you are able.
General Assembly
We are thrilled to be sending Lauren Graham to this year's General Assembly in Louisville, Kentucky. The assembly will begin on July 29 and run through August 1. This year's theme is KINdom of God Within Us Among Us. Lauren has registered for several workshops and is looking forward to bringing back the teachings for our community!

Memorial Service for Pet Companions
We know how special our animal friends become in our lives, and how well they care for and love us. For this reason, we have decided to have our first Memorial Service for the animals we have loved and lost. This will be a solemn moment in our Sunday morning worship on August 13. Please plan to bring a picture or object to honor the animal friends in your life that you have lost. If you would like to share a few words about your animal friend you will be given that opportunity as well. If you would like to participate in this special occasion, please sign up below.
Blessing of the Animals
Join us for our annual Blessing of the Animals on October 1 after worship. You will receive details closer to the event, but please mark your calendars and plan to attend.
