Macy Whitesell is a Southern California musician. She started her musical journey with solo piano lessons, and quickly learned the joys of being in an ensemble, singing, and trying any instrument she could get her hands on. She attended Cal State Fullerton and obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education in 2019. Her studies there emphasized techniques in choral pedagogy, and she followed them up with a Single-Subject Credential in 2020. Macy is a certified music teacher in California and teaches private vocal and piano lessons in addition to her Harbor work. Through teaching, piano recitals, choirs, fife and drum concerts, and church events, she has followed her passion for live performance. At Harbor, she enjoys the strong community and the opportunity to make meaningful music with others.
